Fall River creates committees to improve on key areas

FALL RIVER – The Fall River Office of Economic Development has created four committees to analyze areas affecting job creation.
The organization said Wednesday that it hopes to improve its internal practices and make itself more accessible to the public with the committees.
There will be four committees designated to study: education, public safety, capital assets and public relations.
“With the creation of these committees we can expand our efforts to address education and public safety, which are building blocks of economic development as well as assess our capital asset management, and public relations and marketing approach, making the organization more efficient and effective,” said FROED President Paul S. Medeiros.
