CCRI raises $43,000 with Changing Lives

The Community College of Rhode Island Foundation held its fourth annual Changing Lives Celebration fundraiser, raising $43,000 in support of collegewide needs and emergency funding for students. More than 160 guests attended the event held at the Liston Campus in Providence.
The event served to celebrate U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, Roberta J. Winters and Honeywell as outstanding leaders in their respective areas of community, education and business in Rhode Island. A silent and a live auction were held, with prizes donated by more than 50 companies and individuals. Cathy and Mark Gim donated two vacation weeks in Idaho, raising $7,415 in total to support the Student Assistance for Emergencies Fund at CCRI.
