CRANSTON – Clean Care of New England/C&C Construction purchased the former W.R. Cobb Co. building at 850 Wellington Ave. in Cranston last month.
The 29,678-square-foot building sold for $1.3 million, said George Paskalis, a real estate agent with MG Commercial, which listed the property. The single-story brick building sits on 3.2 acres in a state enterprise zone.
The building has been vacant since W.R. Cobb moved to a larger facility in East Providence once owned by B.A. Ballou, a jewelry company. W.R. Cobb acquired Ballou and its building last year.
Clean Care of New England is a family-owned company that specializes in disaster cleanup, according to its website. The company is currently located 3620 West Shore Road in Warwick. President Ernest Pullano did not respond to repeated requests for comment about the company’s plans for the Cranston building.
