RE/MAX looking for a few good neighbors

RE/MAX of New England is looking for those that make a difference in their community.
The real estate agency is accepting applications for its new program called “Neighbors Above the Crowd.” RE/MAX says it wants to honor “individuals who have made an overwhelming impact on the lives of others and through their dedication, compassion and spirit, have made ongoing extraordinary offerings in their neighborhood.”
The three winners and their families will be treated to a ride in the trademark RE/MAX hot air balloon.
“RE/MAX of New England is excited to give back to those who have given so much to their communities,” RE/MAX of New England Executive Vice President and Regional Director Jay Hummer said. “This program is designed to recognize great neighbors from all across the area and we’re proud to honor them for their commitment to making New England a better place to live.”
To nominate a candidate, submit an application and video to www.remax-newengland.com by Dec. 1, 2009. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges. Five finalists will be posted on the RE/MAX of New England Web site, where the public will be able to vote for the three winners. Anyone who votes will be entered in a sweepstakes for a basketball autographed by the Boston Celtics’s 2007-2008 NBA championship team.
