Randall Realtors acquires Cape Cod firm

CHARLESTOWN – Randall Realtors GMAC Real Estate, a Rhode Island-based firm, this week announced that it has acquired Kinlin Grover GMAC Real Estate, an 11-office Cape Cod firm. Financial details of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
“I can’t begin to describe how excited I am to bring these two great companies together and what it will mean in terms of benefits to clients when it comes to buying, selling or leasing properties,” Randall CEO Doug Randall said in a statement. “This is truly a situation which brings together two highly regarded companies from separate, yet complementary markets. We plan to keep all of the offices and are looking to grow by adding additional sales associates.”
Randall said the two firms’ combined regional sales in 2008 were about $700 million. The firm now has more than 400 Realtors and employees in 18 offices.
Kinlin Grover Executive Vice President Bett McCarthy will continue to manage the company locally, according to Randall Realtors.

Early last year, Randall Realtors announced that it had started expanding into northern Rhode Island with the acquisition of three-agent Paramount Group.
Kinlin Grover, founded in 1992, has 11 offices reaching from the Sagamore Bridge to Provincetown and is the largest vacation rental firm on Cape Cod. For additional info, www.kinlingrover.com.
