
PROVIDENCE – Foresight Science & Technology Inc., a technology commercialization firm, has formed a new group to manage the company’s Web-based services.
The Providence-based firm currently has one Web service, T2+2, which stands for Technology Transfer Tools and Training. T2+2 assists organizations in managing information about various types of technologies.

Foresight’s new Software & Internet Services group will market T2+2 to prospective clients, including universities and government laboratories, and assist current clients with it.
Foresight has hired Matthew Wool to lead the new division. Wool previously worked as an executive at The Walt Disney Co. and as president of Colonial Films, an independent film finance and development company.
“I am excited to be a part of the Foresight team and to use the Web to deliver innovative services,” Wool said in a statement. His goal at Foresight will be “to both continually improve T2+2 and develop new tools to help our clients efficiently monetize their intellectual property,” he said.
A graduate of Middlebury College, Wool is currently completing an M.B.A. at Boston University, according to his LinkedIn biography.
