RWU, center partnering on fee-waived programs

BRISTOL – Roger Williams University is partnering with the Cranston Area Career & Technical Center to offer students in the center’s preengineering, robotics and aquaculture programs some fee-waived programs and scholarships.
Technical center preengineering/
robotics students will be invited to attend a “Day in the Life of a University Engineering Student” at Roger Williams University, where they will be able to partner with an RWU engineering student to experience engineering classes and club activities. Students from the center will also have the opportunity to present their senior engineering projects to RWU faculty and engineering undergraduates.
In addition, technical center preengineering/robotics and aquaculture seniors who attend RWU will be eligible to challenge certain courses through a fee-waived exam.
Also under the partnership, the center’s aquaculture students will be invited to present their senior-level projects to, and exchange ideas with, students and faculty of the RWU aquaculture program.
RWU will also waive tuition for one center aquaculture student to attend marine biology summer camp. &#8226
