Unetixs opens facility in Quonset

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Unetixs Vascular, a firm specializing in instruments for diagnosing vascular disease, has opened a 30,000-square-foot headquarters in Quonset Business Park.
The building, at 125 Commerce Park Road, houses the company’s manufacturing, design, sales, education and development operations.
Unetixs designs and manufactures its instruments “in-house,” it said. “By producing all of our components at our own facility, we can ensure that our instrumentation meets [our clients’] demands for precision and quality,” President and CEO Peter Moscovita said in a statement.
The building includes a 2,300-square-foot education center for health care professional development. Its goal, the company said, is to eventually establish a Registered Vascular Technician Center on the property.
“The move to our new facility represents the significant growth that Unetixs Vascular has achieved in the last 10 years,” Moscovita said. “Vascular diagnostics is a fast-growing medical discipline and we are thrilled to expand our capabilities with the opening of our new headquarters in our home state of Rhode Island.”
