Medical billing firm gets $250,000 EDC loan

Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation through its Small Business Loan Fund Corporation has provided a $250,000 loan to Triple R. Realty to assist the real estate holding company in purchasing real estate and equipment for Priority Management Group Inc., a medical billing and consulting firm. PMG Inc. is relocating to 700 School St. in Pawtucket from Johnston.

“Supporting PMG with its development efforts will provide economic growth for the organization and also for the state. The expansion of small businesses is important to the economic vitality of Rhode Island, and the SBLFC continues to help Rhode Island businesses prosper and grow,” said Michael McMahon, executive director and CEO of RIEDC.

PMG Inc. is a medical billing and consulting firm that provides various levels of knowledge and expertise to clients, including health care administrators, physicians, nurse practitioners and financial personnel, on proper billing and reimbursement activities for medical services that are provided. The company, which began operations in 1998, currently employs approximately 43 people.

“With the loan, we will be able to expand our work force to include 20 to 40 new positions. In addition, we have been able to relocate and purchase the necessary machinery that we need,” said Richard Santilli, vice president of PMG Inc. and president of Triple R. Reality.
