CRANSTON – Alex and Ani LLC lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed to PBN Thursday that President Cindy DiPietrantonio and Chief Financial Officer Bob Woodruff are no longer with the company.
The two were employed on one-year contracts, he said, which expired and were not extended.

The company did not offer an explanation as to why the contracts were not renewed or extended, and did not provide information on what might come next for the exiting leadership.
“The company is in the midst of a restructuring of what a corporation should look like,” said Geragos – adding that the company might not formally replace DiPietrantonio and Woodruff, and that is is not as concerned with titles of jobs.
He said that the work will still be accomplished internally without such labels.
Geragos also said that the company was in “great shape,” with the five best days of retail sales in the company’s history occurring last week.
DiPietrantonio had replaced Harlan Kent, who stepped down from the position of president in 2016.
DiPietrantonio had been Alex and Ani’s interim chief operating officer from July to November in 2016. Woodruff had joined the company in September 2016.
