SWANSEA – BayCoast Bank has promoted Nicole Almeida to senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
In her new role, Almeida will oversee sales and marketing functions, develop marketing policies and lead customer relations programs for the bank and all its affiliates, including BayCoast Mortgage Co., Plimoth Investment Advisors, Partners Insurance Group, and Priority Funding.
Almeida began her career with BayCoast Bank in 2010 as an assistant vice president and branch manager and was promoted to vice president and regional branch manager the following year. In addition to her regional branch manager responsibilities, she became the bank’s corporate development officer in 2013. She was named vice president of Community Bank in 2015, remaining in that role until 2016, when she was promoted to first vice president and marketing director.
Almeida sits on several financial industry boards, including the ABA Bank Marketing School Board and the Mass Bankers Women in Banking Advisory Board. She is a member of the New England Financial Marketing Association and is involved with several ad-hoc committees for local nonprofit organizations.
