PROVIDENCE – Although the closings of Interstate 95 in Providence to allow for the construction of ramps for the new Providence River bridge are over for a time, there is still much work to be done on the Iway project, as the steel arching over Interstate 95 last week can attest.
The R.I. Department of Transportation says it expects the eastbound lanes of the new bridge to connect I-95 and I-195 by this fall.
