PROVIDENCE – Applications are now being accepted for the Rhode Island Business Competition Elevator Pitch Contest, which will be held in Providence on Dec. 5.
A total of $1,000 will be awarded to the top presenters in the competition designed for both established and aspiring entrepreneurs. Participants will get 90 seconds to describe their idea to a panel of judges. The panel will provide participants immediate feedback on the pitch.
Participants are encouraged to answer what problems the idea is trying to solve, the solution, how the idea will make money and why the applicant is qualified to implement the pitch.
Applications may be found on the Rhode Island Business Competition website and are due by Nov. 30 by 5 p.m.
Attendance is free, but requires online registration.
The event will be held at the Tech Collective office at 188 Valley St., Providence.
