NEWPORT, R.I. (January 23, 2018) –BankNewport is pleased to announce the installation of three new ATM locations in Cranston, Cumberland and Exeter, Rhode Island for customers to conveniently access their funds.
In Cranston, a drive-up video Personal Teller Machine (PTM) is now available at the Bank’s Chapel View branch at 4000 Chapel View Boulevard. A PTM offers customers easy, convenient access to traditional ATM services with the added benefit of a Personal Banker, who will work with the customer in real-time via secure video communications from the Bank’s operations center. PTM services include deposit of checks and cash, receive cash withdrawals in requested denominations, cash checks for exact amount, check balances, and transfer funds between accounts. The new drive-up PTM is the second of its kind at the Chapel View location, with a walk-up PTM accessible in the vestibule of the branch.
In Cumberland, the new ATM is located at BankNewport’s recently opened Loan Production office at 2364 Diamond Hill Road. It offers traditional ATM services and deposit automation, allowing Bank customers the ability to make convenient, envelope-free deposits. The ATM will capture check images, determine check amounts, and provide copies of the check and an itemized breakdown of currency on the receipt.
In Exeter, a cash-dispensing ATM is now located at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area and Water Park at 160 Yawgoo Valley Road. The ATM can be accessed during Yawgoo Valley’s hours of operation. In addition to cash withdrawals, customers can transfer money and check balances on savings and checking accounts.
