BARRINGTON – The property at 500 Washington St. in Barrington sold for $1.7 million, the highest sale in the town in more than six months, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Tuesday.
The home, a French country-styled ranch in the Nayatt Point neighborhood, features a custom-built wine cellar, a chef’s kitchen, a sauna, an au pair suite and a marble fireplace. The 6,009-square-foot house has five bedrooms and five and one-half baths.
Midge Berkery, sales associate with Mott & Chace represented the sellers. The buyers were represented by Judy Croyle of William Raveis Chapman Enstone.
