PROVIDENCE – Batchelor, Frechette, McCrory, Michael & Co. has combined with the New York-based PKF O’Connor Davies LLP, the financial services firms announced Wednesday.
BFMM will bring about 26 staff members and four partners to PKFOD, which now has 11 offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland and Rhode Island, employing more than 755 staff led by 105 partners, according to the company.
The companies will combine under the PKFOD name. This will be PKFOD’s first office in Rhode Island.
PKFOD had revenue of $165.8 million in the most recent fiscal year, while BFMM had revenue of $5 million.

Financial details were not disclosed. PKFOD said the merger expands the firm’s expertise in specialized industries such as private clubs, commercial construction and real estate, employee benefit plans and manufacturing, as well as nonprofit organizations.
PKFOD is the 12th-largest accounting firm in the New York City metropolitan area, according to Crain’s New York Business.
