
PROVIDENCE – The local expansion of the Cambridge Innovation Center, called CIC Providence, has opened in the Wexford Science & Technology building. The structure is an anchor of the Interstate 195 Redevelopment District, at 225 Dyer St.
The modern facility for coworking and flexible office space has kitchens on every floor to encourage discussions, “high-end furniture,” conference rooms, operational and technical support for tenants and clients, and a multitude of benefits, including a fixed mailing address, use of event space and a digital directory of fellow community members.

The terms can be as short as 30 days, a benefit to young companies just getting started or entrepreneurs trying to get established.
The available space comes in three groupings, according to an information sheet, starting at $300 per person, per month for coworking space. This is “library-style” seating in an open environment that is aimed at small teams and individuals.
Team tables start at $450 per person, per month, and are described as permanent space in a shared environment. This is aimed at growing teams and people who need a workspace at the same time on a regular basis, according to the CIC.
The CIC Providence also has private offices, secure offices for teams of varying sizes. These include move-in ready desks and chairs. This option is aimed at teams with flexible needs and companies that range in size from one person to 50. The pricing starts at $600 per person, per month.
