CAROLINE RUMOWICZ OF SAUNDERSTOWN RECEIVES
SALVE REGINA UNIVERSITY ALUMNI AWARD
NEWPORT, R.I. – Caroline Rumowicz of Saunderstown, R.I., a 1995 master’s graduate of Salve Regina, was honored with the university’s Distinguished Graduate Alumnus Award during its recent Fall Festival Weekend.
Rumowicz, president and CEO of Cathleen Naughton Associates (CNA), received her master’s degree in health services administration from Salve Regina in 1995. Having assumed leadership of CNA from her mother, Cathleen Earley Naughton, a 1957 graduate of Salve Regina, Rumowicz has directed the company’s R.I. and JCAHO certification processes.
Her commitment to Rhode Island as both a business leader and a leadership volunteer includes serving organizations such as Crossroads R.I., R.I. Domestic Violence Centers in South County and Newport, Light House Programs for displaced youths, North Kingstown Food Pantry, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – South County, and her alma mater. A recognized community leader in the state, she graduated from Leadership R.I. in 2010.
