What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? The issue of affordability when it comes to utility bills. The cost of energy supply across New England is higher than in many parts of the country, mostly due to global and wholesale market forces beyond our control. What was your first job? Au Bon Pain in the local mall’s food court.

What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? I committed to the field of energy and environment when I skipped class on a whim to attend a conference on climate change. I stayed in this industry because of the meaningful work I get to do every day with people who care.
