CBRE receives Energy Star award

BOSTON – Along with being named the No. 1 national brand in commercial real estate for the eighth consecutive year, CB Richard Ellis, the international real estate services company that has a Providence office, also has been named an Energy Star Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The “No. 1” honor stems from Florida-based The Lipsey Company’s annual survey of more than 40,000 real estate professionals around the world.
“Being recognized once again as commercial real estate’s top brand attests to the confidence that our clients place in us and the success of our people in delivering exceptional service on a daily basis,” CBRE Global Chief Operation Officer and Americas Group President Calvin W. Frese Jr. said in a statement. “Our 30,000 professionals are the CBRE brand. Their talent, combined with our unsurpassed global platform, has solidified our position as the industry leader and built our reputation as the premier commercial real estate services company in the world.”
CBRE was the only commercial real estate services firm to be awarded the EPA award, the company announced this week. More than 1,200 CBRE-managed buildings are Energy Star-certified, which is the largest amount of certifications held by one firm.
