COVENTRY – Rhode Island’s Comprehensive Community Action Program has announced the opening of a new family dental center in the town.

The center, a newly constructed 5,000-square-foot facility, offers dental services for children, adolescents and adults. It is accepting new patients.

CCAP’s health facility in Coventry provides medical, behavioral health, dental and women, infants and children services from board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners, dentists, hygienists, and licensed clinical social workers.

CCAP’s programs and services help people and families throughout the state in an effort to fight poverty.

The nonprofit, originally based in Cranston, offers health services, family support, education and job training. Last year, the group helped more than 40,000 Rhode Island residents.

The new dental center is located at CCAP’s Family Health Services of Coventry at 191 MacArthur Blvd. Most insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted.
