MIDDLETOWN – The Newport County Chamber of Commerce yesterday unveiled its first “Pocket Guide to Newport County.”
The 2007 guide is a 70-page, full-color compendium of information on shopping, the arts, special events and weddings, lodgings and other attractions.
The free booklet will be distributed at the Newport Visitors’ Center, T.F. Green Airport, local restaurants, hotels and attractions and to visitors who request it by phone or e-mail. It also will appear online at www.NewportChamber.com.
Businesses interested in advertising in the 2008 Pocket Guide are asked to call Chamber Deputy Director Jody Sullivan at 847-1608. Advertisers will receive exposure in both the print and the online editions.
