CHARLESTOWN – The property at 114 Midland Road has sold for $1.6 million, marking the highest sale in the town this year, according to data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty announced Tuesday.

Originally listed at nearly $2 million, the property is located near East Beach in the Quonochontaug village of Charlestown. Spanning nearly 2 acres, the home has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and 5,344 square feet of living space. The property also features an in-ground pool, a three-car garage and a wood-paneled library.

The sellers were represented by Ray Mott, broker and co-owner, and Susan Mitchell, sales associate, both of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, while the buyers were represented by John Fusaro of Coldwell Banker Coastal Homes.
