FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Citrin Cooperman on Oct. 19 is hosting an economic summit at Gillette Stadium to help New England businesses plan for the future.

The summit in Foxborough, hosted by Citrin Cooperman with offices in Rhode Island, is dubbed “New England Economic Summit: Business Planning for Tomorrow’s Economy.”

“We might not be able to provide the next play, but we have the next best thing,” according to an announcement. “Join us … for discussions with a nationally recognized economist and regional industry leaders to hear about their views on trends that will impact you and your industry.”

Economist Anirban Basu, who is also the chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group Inc., will be the keynote speaker. Basu served as chairman of the Maryland Economic Development Commission and teaches global strategy at Johns Hopkins University.

“Anirban will discuss issues ranging from global, national and regional economies using the most up-to-date data available,” according to Citrin Cooperman. “Special attention will be focused on the performance of financial, labor and real estate markets.”

Citrin Cooperman will subsequently moderate a discussion featuring panelists Ian Lane, managing director at HarbourVest; Jan Miller, vice chair at Eastern Bank; and Andrew Hoar, president and co-managing partner at CBRE/New England.
