FALL RIVER – A medical-research company specializing in pharmaceutical clinical trials has opened its doors in the New Boston Road Medical Center, led nurse practitioner Elizabeth Donaghey.
Donaghey, president and CEO of GENESIS, has completed more than 110 clinical trials as a sub-investigator and as clinical director, according to a news release. Her primary focus has been women’s health, as well as pain management and weight loss.
Donaghey has formed a network with specialists treating patients with diabetes, obesity, hypertension and COPD. The firm’s business model is built around connecting doctors to research programs and services, and Donaghey is currently working on trials of treatments for osteoarthritis, pulmonary disease, bladder problems and weight loss. •
