What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Coastal1 has our engagement and wellness committees that plan fun events such as employee appreciation week, bingo nights, trivia nights, cookouts, ice cream truck visits, regional walking groups, bowling and holiday celebrations.
What role do diversity, equity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? Diversity in hiring and promotion ensures that different demographics are represented throughout the organization, which leads to increased morale and a stronger representation of the communities we serve.
How do you support community service work by your employees? We encourage all employees to volunteer for eight hours of paid time off for community service. We have a full-time community development officer who identifies needs throughout the state. Many employees offer their expertise by serving on nonprofit boards and committees.
