PROVIDENCE – University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is home to the nation’s No. 10 best online bachelor’s degree in accounting, according to a June ranking compiled by College Choice.
According to the college resource website, average tuition in the state school program, which was established in 1985, is $361. Part of the Charlton School of Business at UMass Dartmouth, the online accounting program is credit-based and students must have received a minimum of 24 credits prior to enrolling. Required program courses include cost accounting, financial management, organizational behavior and strategic management.

This is a very affordable degree program, but please note that UMass Dartmouth does not consider applications for online programs from applicants whose permanent residence is in Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Maryland or Minnesota (due to state regulations).”
In total, the ranking included 35 programs. Rounding out the top three are Pennsylvania State University World Campus out of Centre County, Penn., at No. 1, followed by Colorado State University Global Campus in Greenwood Village, Colo. (No. 2) and Melbourne, Fla.-based Florida Institute of Technology (No. 3).
