College Unbound to graduate 20 students in June

PROVIDENCE – On June 3, College Unbound will graduate 20 students from its program during a graduation ceremony at the Met Center in Providence.

This year’s graduates will receive their degrees from College Unbound’s accredited partner Charter Oak State College, an online public college based in New Britain, Conn. Currently, College Unbound is progressing toward regional accreditation and anticipates a favorable decision from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges by fall 2018.

The Class of 2017 graduates are: Sherry Araujo, Carmen Boucher, Fred Brissette, Anayka Campbell, Hilda Castillo, Toni Charpentier, Freddie Clifford, Lydia Angel Cooper, Rochanda Delves-Johnson, Carrie DiPetro, Adeana Dunston, Adam Foldi, Kim Genereux, Debrease King, Emily Lewis, Delores Manning, Sal Monteiro, Marie Pedilla, Sherry Rivera and Jackie Woods.

Marking eight years of helping full-time working individuals receive their degrees, College Unbound offers education programming to nontraditional students who began their studies elsewhere and for one reason or another were interrupted.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at the Met Center in Providence at 325 Public St.
