Conservation Services Group buys Planergy unit

WESTBORO – Conservation Services Group, a national provider of energy conservation services and solar electricity, has acquired the Planergy Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, the Field Services Division, based in Austin, Texas. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CSG, based here, recently merged with MassSAVE, thus creating the largest provider of residential energy efficiency services in New England. A new company, CSG Services, Inc. has been formed to accommodate the assets acquired from Planergy. The Planergy Group is a national provider of industrial energy efficiency services with offices in five states.
