Corvias to develop $126M in student housing for Purdue University

EAST GREENWICH – Corvias has reached an agreement with Purdue University to build 1,300 beds of student housing.

The Big 10 university in West Lafayette, Ind., selected Plenary Properties Purdue LLC as the preferred project partner in July. The contract is worth $125.6 million, according to a Corvias spokeswoman.

The development team includes Plenary Group USA Concessions Ltd., Corvias, Gilbane Building Co., MSKTD & Associates, Mackey Mitchell Architects, Schneider Corp., MKSK and Applied Engineering.

The organizations reached an agreement in late October for the project that will include two new residence halls, now known as Third Street North and Meredith South.
