The RI Veterinary Medical Association (RIVMA) has elected Dr. Lindsay Thibeault as president to lead the 200-plus member organization focused on promoting animal welfare, veterinary medicine, and public health.
A member of the RIVMA Board of Directors since 2015, Dr. Thibeault is a veterinarian at her practice, Creature Comforts Veterinary Services, and specializes in small animal medicine and surgery.
She is a leading voice for animal welfare in Rhode Island and, along with RIVMA, a champion of ensuring access to veterinary care for pet owners, regardless of financial resources. She is also a longtime volunteer in RIVMA’s community-based rabies clinics.
