Dryvit tapped to represent R.I. at green summit

WEST WARWICK – Dryvit Systems Inc., a Rhode Island-based insulation manufacturer, was chosen by U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse to represent the Ocean State at the Senate Democratic Caucus’ Green Jobs Leadership Summit.
The June 17 conference, held in Washington, D.C., focused on creating clean energy jobs and supporting a new green economy.
“As the leading United States manufacturer of exterior insulation and finish systems, Dryvit is pleased to participate in the Senate Democratic Caucus Green Jobs Leadership Summit,” Dryvit Vice President of Marketing and Sustainability Tony Stall said in a statement, “and provide information to our legislators that will assist them in making smart decision that can quickly and cost effectively reduce our nation’s reliance on non-renewable energy sources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
