PROVIDENCE – General Dynamics Electric Boat has been awarded a $15.4 billion contract extension from U.S. Department of War for its Columbia-class ballistic missile submarine program.  The modification, announced on March 18, extends the $5.1 billion contract that was awarded in September 2017 for integrated product and process development design completion for the new Columbia-class ballistic missile
