CRANSTON – Technic Inc., the international electroplating chemical and equipment manufacturer based in Rhode Island, today announced that it has purchased a new headquarters.
The 25,000-square-foot building, at 47 Molter St. in Cranston, is adjacent to the existing headquarters, at 1 Spectacle St. The company did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

“In this period of severe contraction in the supply chain for electronic material suppliers, Technic is committing additional capital to facilities expansion and remains firmly committed to our existing customers and target markets,” Global Business Operations Vice President Steve Schaefer said in a statement. “We have positioned the company to dramatically improve our market share penetration during this downturn.”
The new facility will house the company’s corporate administrative and sales offices, along with customer support, according to Technic.
