Service begins on Aug. 14.

“We thank Frontier for choosing Rhode Island. Our state is on the move, and Frontier Airlines’ presence at T.F. Green is one more connection to jobs, businesses and economic opportunity for Rhode Islanders,” said Gov. Gina M. Raimondo in a statement.

Flights to Denver will depart from T.F. Green at 11 a.m. daily, and flights from Denver will arrive in Warwick at 7:09 p.m. daily. Flights to Denver are between $59 and $99 for one-way tickets, according to Frontier’s website.

Both flights will be flown on the Airbus A320.

“The Providence community has already been a wonderful supporter of our new service announcement,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, commercial, for Frontier Airlines, in a press release on Wednesday. “They are as committed as we are to ensuring these new routes will be successful, and we look forward to working with them to achieve that goal.”
