Hospital Association of Rhode Island recognizes 9 ‘Hospital Heroes’

PROVIDENCE – Nine employees from the Hospital Association of Rhode Island’s member hospitals were named “heroes” recently for their job performance and dedication to health care.

The honors were announced at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center for the Hospital Association of Rhode Island’s Hospital Hero Award for Excellence in Hospital Care event.

  • Melissa Bart, nurse manager at Butler Hospital.
  • Christine Kettelle, behavioral specialist at Eleanor Slater Hospital.
  • Janice Colvin, registered nurse at Kent County Memorial Hospital.
  • Nicole Allard, certified nursing assistant at Landmark Medical Center.
  • Amy Figueira, registered nurse at Providence VA Medical Center.
  • Nanette Doan, emergency department clinical leader at South County Health.
