Hospital offering $1K for clinical education

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The South County Hospital Auxiliary is seeking applications for a $1,000 scholarship to support a Washington County resident who is studying or getting job training in a clinical health care field and needs financial aid. The deadline is March 1.
The scholarship fund was established in 2002 by the Auxiliary, which provides volunteers and financial support to the hospital and has helped raise more than $1 million for equipment and services though sales in the coffee and gift shop, as well as special events.
