In response to thriving demand in the Florida market, Hunt Yachts announced today that Joe Connell of Port St. Lucie, FL has joined the firm as Sales Director for Florida’s East Coast. Joe will be based out of Hunt’s Stuart office, continuing the company’s success in delivering semi-custom powerboats from 25 to 80 feet to Florida clients. Joe joins Jennifer Richards, who manages the sales activity for Hunt on Florida’s West Coast and is based in Naples. With two Florida locations, Hunt Yachts is well positioned to meet the mounting demand for the legendary performance and versatility of the Hunt Deep-V throughout the Sunshine State.
Joe brings a lifetime of boating experience to Hunt Yachts, including having spent 20 years in the United States Coast Guard, where he retired as a highly decorated Chief Warrant Officer. Joe has experienced firsthand the performance and capability of the Hunt Deep-V hull, a design utilized in many Coast Guard vessels. Following his retirement from the Coast Guard, Joe spent 12 years with Cabo Yachts, working closely with both manufacturing and sales as an Applications Engineer. Joe comments “I am excited to start a new challenge with Hunt Yachts and look forward to working with the team to further their success in Florida. As a retired Coast Guard officer, I have the utmost confidence in and appreciation for the Hunt designs and I look forward to working with clients to select and customize a Hunt yacht that meets their every need.”
