
WARWICK – Construction of a new, 125-room Hyatt Place hotel in City Centre Warwick was celebrated last week.
The project of D’Ambra Construction will include $20 million in investment and create an estimated 145 construction jobs. The hotel is the first of several projects scheduled for the former asphalt site.

On completion, the Hyatt will become the 17th hotel in Warwick. State incentives authorized by the R.I. Commerce Corp. to facilitate its construction include up to $3.5 million in tax increment financing, $300,000 in a sales tax exemption on construction materials and $1.2 million in Rebuild Rhode Island tax credits.
