Im-aj reaps more honors <br>for Crossroads, R.I. Housing PSAs

RICHMOND – The public service advertising campaigns developed by Im-aj Communications & Design Inc. for Rhode Island Housing and Crossroads Rhode Island have been honored yet again, in the 28th Annual Telly Awards and the 13th Annual Communicator Awards, Im-aj says.

The Rhode Island Housing “There’s a Place …” campaign received a bronze Telly and an Award of Distinction in the Communicator Awards. The ads – created to accompany the agency’s new brand launch – highlight Rhode Island Housing’s mission of ensuring that people who live and work in the state can afford safe, healthy homes; they can be viewed at www.imajcommunications.com. The campaign received gold awards in both the recent Service Industry Advertising Awards and the MarCom Creative Awards.

“Creating a solid brand identity that truly represents Rhode Island Housing has been an extremely rewarding process,” said Richard Godfrey, the housing agency’s executive director.

The Crossroads “Who are Rhode Island’s Homeless” campaign received a silver Telly and an honorable mention in the Communicator Awards. The ads – also part of a brand identity launch – challenge the stigma of homelessness and encourage viewers to help the agency aid their homeless neighbors. They can be viewed at www.imajcommunications.com. The campaign took a silver in the recent Service Industry Advertising Awards.

“The feedback to these PSAs has been tremendous. … It’s sobering [to viewers] to learn that homelessness can happen to anyone,” said Anne Nolan, Crossroads’ president.
