Jack named next editor, publisher of Brown Alumni Magazine

PROVIDENCE – Effective July 9, Pippa Jack, former editor-in-chief of the University of Rhode Island alumni magazine, will become the next editor and publisher of the 118-year-old Brown Alumni Magazine, which is received by more than 115,000 Brown University alumni and parents.

“I am delighted to have the honor of leading the Brown Alumni Magazine,” Jack said in prepared remarks. “I look forward to engaging with readers and continuing the magazine’s mission of keeping alumni connected with each other and with Brown itself.”

Jack, who previously worked for the Block Island Times and Rhode Island Monthly as well as a one-year stint in Brown’s Division of Advancement, succeeds Norman Boucher, who retired in May after heading up the publication for the past two decades.

Reporting to Vice President for Communications Cass Cliatt, Jack will be responsible for delivering Brown-related content to the school’s alumni.
