What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? Staying relevant and financially stable in a time of rapid change. Federal support for the arts is under renewed threat, and audience behavior has shifted dramatically since the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re competing in an oversaturated entertainment market where convenience and digital content win, but what we offer can’t be replicated by a screen or artificial intelligence. We’re looking closely at how our education programs can help fill the gaps left by underfunded public schools.

What was your first job? Walgreens. Customer service will both humble and shape a teenager.
What is your favorite personal activity/pastime away from the office? Karaoke. After a long workday or week, there’s nothing better than grabbing a mic and letting it all out.
What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? I started as a performer, singing in church, playing trumpet in the school band, then eventually falling headfirst into theater. That’s where I found my people.
