The initiatives and benefits have paid off. Studd says the company is seeing a reduction in injuries, absenteeism and illness across its workforce.
One such benefit offered is Accolade Care, which is a virtual primary and mental health care plan, available at no cost to all employees, including part-timers. Through the plan, each employee has 12 free primary care and 12 free mental health sessions per year.
The company also has five rental properties in New Hampshire and Connecticut that can be reserved in advance by any employee.
