Local IT firm introduces ‘R.I. Help Desk’

PROVIDENCE – ICBS, an IT management company providing security management solutions to businesses and organizations, recently introduced the Rhode Island Help Desk, an IT resource center that provides emergency technical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Available only to Rhode Island businesses and organizations, the Help Desk is designed to provide emergency services for companies that lack an IT department.
In addition to remote monitoring of IT resources, the Rhode Island Help Desk provides a broad range of technology services and disaster-prevention solutions, including remote data backup, patch management, technology management and spam filtering services.
“The Rhode Island Help Desk is a cost-effective IT resource for local companies,” said Steve Fontes, head of business development for ICBS. “It is designed specifically for organizations that need help but can’t afford an IT department or just want to minimize IT costs to remain competitive.”
