PROVIDENCE – Care New England Medical Group has announced the addition of gynecologic oncologist Dr. Elizabeth Lokich to the hospital system’s team, practicing at Women & Infants Hospital’s Program in Women’s Oncology.
Lokich is also an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
A graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in molecular biology, Lokich earned a medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and fellowship in gynecology oncology at Women & Infants.
Prior to returning to Women & Infants, Lokich worked at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she was also an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
Lokich is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board-eligible in gynecologic oncology. She is also a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
With more than 500 physicians and advanced practitioners, Care New England Medical Group offers primary care and specialty services at Butler Hospital, Kent Hospital, The Providence Center, the VNA of Care New England, Women & Infants Hospital and at CNEMG office locations throughout southern New England.
