DEPUTY DIRECTOR – LEADERSHIP RHODE ISLAND

Where do you see yourself professionally in 20 years? Leading a nonprofit organization, supporting change-makers through philanthropy, facilitating community-engaged learning in higher education, or serving in public office. Wherever I may journey, I hope to continue to find the best in others, build meaningful relationships across lines of difference and leave the world better than I found it.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Engage with people who seem to be the least like you, and listen to understand. Discover your unique talents and focus on your strengths to become your best self. Lead with fire in your soul, grace in your heart and always stay humble.

What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby? I love going to my husband’s family’s home on Prudence Island. There’s nothing like sitting on the dock by the lighthouse, watching the boats pass by.
