“We could not be more excited to welcome Greg into our family,” said Chace, broker and co-owner of the Rhode Island real estate firm. “We are creating something special here and it is a very exciting time for our company and the direction in which we are heading.”

Kiely was the recipient of the the 2019 Massachusetts Realtor of the Year, and during his tenure at Sotheby’s International Realty Cape Cod Brokerages the firm listed the most expensive residential property ever sold on the Cape, a New England-style estate in Woods Hole that went for $20 million in 2020.

“I am excited to be coming home to Rhode Island to work with Ray and Judy to support our managers and staff in service to our Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty associates and clients as they navigate one of the most interesting real estate markets of our time,” Kiely said.

Kiely, a resident of Aquidneck Island, where he serves regularly as an international race official for World Sailing and U.S. Sailing competitions, is a member of the board of directors for the National Association of Realtors. Kiely also served as the 2020 president of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, and is in his fifth year on the executive committee at the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.

“Deeply involved in Realtor volunteer leadership, Greg gives Sotheby’s International Realty associates and clients direct access to the latest information on government regulations and professional development opportunities that impact the real estate brokerage community,” according to a statement from Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

In addition to the hiring of Kiely, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty also announced the promotion of Jeni Pardo de Zela to chief marketing and business development officer. Since January 2016, when she first came aboard at Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, Pardo de Zela worked under a shorter title, chief marketing officer. During her time at the real estate firm, Pardo de Zela has been credited with establishing an in-house educational program designed to make sure agents are leveraging the firm’s business tools to meet their goals for real estate transactions and outreach.

“Jeni contributes to the overall growth of the company by supporting agents and leading the marketing department,” according to a statement from the Providence-based real estate firm. “As the firm’s architect of marketing and communications platforms, Jeni executes the strategic growth objectives and preserves the Sotheby’s International Realty brand identity across the company.”

Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty also announced the appointment of three new directors: Brooke Churas, as the firm’s director of marketing; Andrea Crivellaro, as its director of operations; and Katelyn Scott, now the director of administration and agent transition.

“Well deserved and categorically earned, we are so proud of the team and the new positions they have accepted,” Mott said. “We have been strategic over the last few years and are prepared to take our firm to the next level. We are confident in our people and confident in our place in Rhode Island’s luxury real estate.”

Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty is part of the Sotheby’s International Realty luxury real estate brand founded in 1976, now with 17,000 sales associates located in about 800 offices in 61 countries across the world. The Rhode Island real estate firm has offices in Providence, Westerly, Westport, Narragansett, East Greenwich, Charlestown and Barrington.

“All of these changes are going to move the needle on what to expect from us,” Chase said.
