EAST PROVIDENCE – A newly launched virtual video studio will help producers overcome logistics to take film and gaming production to new heights, says Rhode Island-based (add)ventures agency.

The East Providence studio, called (add)galaxies, provides a mix of equipment, including LED screens, camera motion-tracking software, 3D virtual environment technology and game engine software.

This technology will help producers avoid interruptions caused by issues such as travel, location availability, inclement weather and other restrictions, according to the independent strategy and creative brand agency.

Scott Maiocchi, senior vice president and executive producer at (add)ventures, said the availability of this technology is “a game changer in how we produce content.”

“With this new technology, we can film anywhere in the world, including spaces and places that don’t yet exist, right from our headquarters,” Maoicchi said. “It gives storytellers ultimate control and creative freedom to deliver visionary solutions for our client partners and brands.”

Founded by CEO and Rhode Island native Stephen Rosa, (add)ventures has additional offices in New York, Chicago, Miami, Brazil, Argentina and elsewhere in New England, and focuses on health care and consumer brand sectors.
