“The Providence area has long drawn patients from across Rhode Island and neighboring states for specialized medical care. It’s a city with serious healthcare infrastructure, and residents here are no strangers to seeking out the best available option — even when that means traveling for it,” Nuvia Dental said in the release.

Nuvia Dental’s implant process sees patients undergo a consultation followed by a CT scan and individualized treatment plan. A surgery is performed to install the implants, and for eligible patients, a set of permanent zirconia teeth can be installed within 24 hours.

“The Johnston center brings that same model to a community that has needed it. Appointments, surgery, and permanent teeth — all within reach, without the drive,” Nuvia said.

Founded in 2020, Nuvia Dental operates 53 centers throughout the country, according to its website.
