PAWTUCKET – Ocean Inno Tech Fest 2018 was announced earlier this month at its official launch, a collaborative project between the city of Pawtucket, R.I. Commerce Corp., Pawtucket Foundation, Pawtucket Red Sox and Red DWG Library, organizers said in a news release.
The event will be held May 10 at McCoy Stadium.
The future of innovation will be on hand, with virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and professional drone racing. The event will also feature workshops, food trucks, cocktails, live music and networking. Members of the technology community such as startups, recruiters, entrepreneurs, colleges and universities, gamers and investors are welcome, as is the general public, the group said.
Expected to be in attendance are Mayor Donald R. Grebien, Commerce Secretary Stefan Pryor, Pawtucket Commerce Director Jeanne Boyle, Pawtucket Foundation Executive Director Jan Brodie, Red DWG Library founder David Gomez and representatives of the Pawtucket Red Sox.
